Aurélie Andrès

Artist, illustrator

& designer

Aurélie Andrès is a multidisciplinary French artist with immense curiosity. Designer, muralist and illustrator her work is a reflection of her travels with a communicative “joie de vivre”.

After her training in design and fashion, where she learned embroidery, weaving, printing and dyeing techniques, she began her career with Swildens and Leon & Harper as a textile designer. It is after returning from long stays in New York and India, that she opened her art studio and worked with brands such as Louise Misha, Majestic Filature, Pimkie, Idano, Habitat or Made.com .

In March 2018, during a crossing of Morocco, Aurélie discovered pigments in the city of Chefchaouen, in the north-west of the country. She bought ten kilos (a bit much), with which she painted the facade of a school in the middle of the desert. Alongside the local children with illuminated faces, it immediately clicked: this new experience marked the beginning of great associative adventure.

On walls in Morocco, Colombia, USA, or France, she now asserts her colorful and pop style, leading projects increasingly oriented towards sharing.

Offering to bring colorful ideas, leaving landscapes more lively and interiors further illuminated, then when she arrived. Continuously searching to mix art and experiences in order to lift hearts and give back.
